Below I will link two YouTube videos which illustrate how powerful our thoughts, words, and actions are in the eyes and minds of the the unsaved, to whom we are trying to reach with the Gospel, and thus why it’s imperative that we make sure we “bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ,” (2 Corinthians 10:5) even in accordance to Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
For the first example we look to the infamous atheist/”comedian”/magician Penn Jillette. While Mr. Jillete is quite a well known figure, who can be seen across the entertainment world evangelizing his atheism and mocking God; check out how affected he was, nonetheless, when a compassionate man gave him a Bible:
Conversely, for the next example, we will examine the negative effect we can have as a witness, if we, being marked by His name, behave contrarily to the Word; this young woman after observing the hypocritical actions of a Christian, decided to get ‘666’ tattooed on her body:
